GROWING IN THE SPIRIT

Our church is typical of UCC churches in that members tend to be quite diverse theologically and come from many different church backgrounds. We are conscious of our individual spiritual journeys and respect the need for persons to progress in faith in their own time and through their own experiences.

WORSHIP  We joyfully praise God with biblically-centered worship that is spiritually fulfilling and musically alive.

Worshipping together provides spiritual support and encouragement that goes beyond Sunday morning, infusing everyday life with direction and a strong moral compass. We are bolstered by biblically-based sermons that tell us who God is and how we can reflect God in our daily lives, both as individuals and as a community. Our choir is a delight and music fills our sanctuary. Children attend adult worship once a month, and all who accept Jesus are welcome to share Communion with us.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH   We nurture individual spiritual development through a variety of Christian experiences.

We offer Christian education classes for every age, beginning with toddlers and pre-school children, progressing through elementary-age classes, junior high and Confirmation, a teen discussion group, and adult studies that include classes for "Bible beginners," faith exploration, and advanced Bible study. Short series on different topics as varied as centered prayer and conflict resolution are offered twice a year.
